El Camino está en mi Cabeza / The way is in my Head

The Way is in My head

The Way Is in My Head is a project exploring migration, asylum, and mental health, developed in different contexts and countries: Mexico, Mozambique, and Ukraine (this is a work in progress).

The journey punishes the body, but also the mind. People seeking refuge around the world encounter borders and face traumas that go beyond the journey itself: the death of family members, complex relationships with family and country of origin, and the disappointment of expectations. But above all, there is uncertainty: the journey gets inside their heads.
