Criminal organisations use the kidnapping of women and adolescents to turn them into sex slaves. “My daughter still has marks from the chains where they used to keep her lying on a chained platform so that clients could rape her,” says María Soledad, the mother of a 14-year-old girl who was kidnapped and trafficked.
